NWUCA members participated in an amazing community service project on June 14, 2019 for the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA). Our members stepped up in a big way!
We ground out two very large stumps, had a tree removed, put together a large playground set, demolished and poured a new 20 x 20 concrete pad and weeded their front yard.
All of this was done for 5-year old Wesley and his family while they are all dealing with his 2-year battle with a rare form of leukemia. Doing a service project like this has been the goal of Travis Berg, Associate Member Chair, since he took on the role.
Geoff Brown helped to connect us with the CCA and the generosity of our members made it all happen. A huge thank you to the following members that donated goods & services totaling over $5,000!
United Rentals, Ditch Witch, Canby Excavating Inc., Oxbow Construction, MEI Group, Knife River, Roger Langeliers Construction RLC Group, Brix Paving, KG Specialties, United Rentals Trench Solutions, Ritz Safety, Image Source, Parker, Smith & Feek, Aldrich CPAs + Advisors, Bidadoo Inc., Schaeffer Mfg., DP Nicoli, Falcon Shoring, Rain for Rent & NWUCA.
It was an incredible day and we look forward to doing more projects in the future! NWUCA truly is a family in every sense of the word! Thanks to everyone that helped!
